Who can use Care Cards?
Absolutely anyone! Solity Care Cards provide products to assist people managing illnesses and ailments around the globe.
What are Care Cards used for?
Care Cards are designed to offer assistance and support to those living with conditions that may often become overwhelming or unmanagable in public settings. Providing crucial information; including the person's name and an emergency contact phone number, Care Cards allow bystanders to provide individuals with the support they need, when they need it.
Often unable to verbalise what they need, people living with mental health issues, diseases, illnesses and disorders can show their Care Cards, point to the type of assistance required and have others assist in a helpful and calm manner.
Care Cards minimise time taken to locate emergency contacts and personal information in emergency situations, or allow the Care Card holder to rest without having to explain anything.
Care Cards aim to rid the judgement and abuse thrown at those living with illnesses that may not be instantly recognisable or noticeable to others.
Are Care Cards proof of illnesses?
No. Care Cards are used as assistance or support tools and are not valid proof of an illness, nor can they be used to receive concessions. This information is printed clearly on each Care Card.
What if I have more than one illness?
In cases where people manage multiple conditions at once, it is advised to select a Care Card for the most predominant ailment, more likely to cause issues for you in public settings, or opt for a Care Card that reads 'Multiple Chronic Illnesses'.
Solity Care Cards also offer 'Blank Front' Care Cards, with the option for you to write multiple illnesses in the strip provided, on one card. Please do note, depending on your handwriting, two illnesses are likely to fit in the space provided. Abbreviations may be required.

Can I customise my Care Card?
When ordering your Care Card products, you will be asked to input your illness name to be printed on your Care Card. This is the only customisable section of the Care Cards. The text on the body of the cards, both front and back are not customisable. Any respiratory illness Care Cards will be printed with the option to "Help find puffer", while other Care Cards will have an option to "Help locate medication", on the back.
How do I put my details on my Care Card?
You will receive a fine-point Sharpie permanent marker with your order, to ensure your details don't rub off (as some other cards may after time). Simply write your details on the Care Care when it arrives in the mail.
How do I receive my Care Card order?
All Care Cards are sent in tracked packaging, through Australia Post. Tracking numbers are provided to you once available. Charges apply accordingly.
How come I've never heard of Solity's Care Cards before now?
Solity Care Care are an initiative developed in Queensland, by a young woman managing multiple mental health issues, physical conditions and a terminal illness. Personally finding a need for these kinds of tools, yet unable to find anything in the Australian market, Solity Australia was born. Launching in 2020, Solity Care Cards is a privately owned small business aimed at making the life a little easier for those living with health conditions.
Is Solity Australia affiliated with health departments or the government?
No. Solity Care Cards is a private, Australian-owned, women-led small business providing quality products to the community.
Do you give discounts or concessions?
Our Care Cards are priced as low as possible, making us unable to provide concessions or discounts.
